Party Dip Recipes for Chips and More
Dips are ideal for bringing people together. They quickly establish common ground by demanding that you dish up from the same place or even eat close together around a favorite dip bowl. Dips are social feeding at its best!
The 90s music charts agree...

Thank you Freak Nasty, for your permission to dip, I didn't need your permission, but you sound like one less obstacle between me and some creamy, flavorful goodness. And much like your 1997 hit, Da Dip, a good dip really brings the party!!! Looking for bread dipper recipes? Most of my bread recipes will work fantastically. You may want to modify some recipes depending on what dip you are using; for instance, garlic rolls may need a less garlic and butter applied if dipping in a dairy-rich dip. Some herb and onion toast is a great choice if you're wondering what to serve at a party with a savory dip. A patriotic mozzarella and olive dip is the perfect way to accent a large get-together, and any appetizer with pepperoni is great for gatherings large or small. My family especially appreciates dipping fried chicken tenders and fried ravioli while watching a movie or a big game (Go Beavs!).
Party of One?
Of course, you don't need company (or someone's hands on your hips) to dip! I wouldn't fault anyone who decides to, only speaking hypothetically, cuddle up with a baked cheese dip all alone, in the bath, while the kids are FINALLY going to bed, and they are now husband's problem, while binge-watching Grey's Anatomy on my phone, and carbohydrates feel almost like Dr. McDreamy's arms... Oops, busted dip-dreaming again. Sorry.
My other solo fave (or what I like to call the "Me-Party with Bread") is a cheesesteak dip eaten with a toasted baguette.
Need it Quick and Easy Dips
Okay, forget the frying and decorations. When I just remembered that I volunteered to bring an appetizer, I opt for my favorite sour cream and onion dip and swing by the grocery store for crackers.
No time the day of the event to make the dip? You can make this cream cheese fruit dip days in advance and have it ready to go out the door. No kidding, my husband's coworkers beg him to bring this to work functions again and again!
Voila, dip magic!
Other Simple Appetizers and Party Food
Dips are often the go-to for party appetizers. Let me introduce you to some other party favorites! One of my most popular recipes ever is for these sweet oven-baked ham and cheese sliders. Another variation on an appetizer is to use roasted garlic aioli as a spread or as a dip!
Remember, NO DOUBLE DIPPING! ( ...unless you are alone, or with Patrick Dempsey.)
