This isn’t your regular french toast! The croissants bring this breakfast favorite to a whole new level. This croissant french toast is creamy, buttery, and practically melts in your mouth.

One of my favorite things about Christmas time is having the excuse to make fun breakfasts. I’m not usually a breakfast-maker because, well, waking up is hard. But when the kids are out of school, it’s cold outside, and I have no place better to be than my cozy and warm kitchen, I breakfast and I breakfast hard.
This croissant french toast recipe is no more difficult to make than regular french toast but definitely has that “wow” factor. The buttery croissants somehow turn the egg and milk and cinnamon into a magic little pillows of love that dance merrily on your your tongue. You pair it with some bacon and you’ve got a pretty killer breakfast that is perfect for when you have company over.
One way of kicking this breakfast up a few more notches is by creating a “Bacon Bar” to serve along side your croissant french toast! Smithfield has put together an entire website devoted to helping you create your very own Bacon Bar with recipes, printables and decor ideas.
The Smithfield Bacon Bar gives you delicious bacon recipes to make with all the the Smithfield bacon varieties, like Peppered Brown Sugar, Sea Salt Caramel, and Caramelized Bourbon Bacon, paired with warm flakey biscuits, sweet jams, and more.
Visit Smithfield.com/baconbar to see all of this awesomeness!
I decided to go simple and pair the croissant french toast with Smithfield’s “Hometown Original” bacon. They have 10 different varieties to choose from though and I haven’t found one that I don’t like. 😉 I especially like their cherrywood smoked bacon. SO good.
There’s just something about bacon in jars that makes me happy…
You know what else makes me happy? FREE BACON!
So, do you want to win FREE BACON for a year? Thought so!
